A 500-year-old mosque, also called Kondotty Mosque



The 500-year-old Pazhayangadi Mosque is located 18 km east of Manjeri at Kondotty on the Malappuram-Kozhikode route. This famous pilgrim center of the Muslims is also known as Kondotty Mosque. This holy place is associated with the Muslim saint, Muhammed Shah, commonly known as Kondotty Thangal. The three day Valia Nercha festival in the month of February or March draws crowds from far and wide.
