Payaswani River

Payaswani River, a major inter-state river of Kerala and Karnataka, originates from Patti Ghats reserve forests in Kodagu District. The river merges with Chandragiri River at Machipana near Kasargod and drains into the Arabian Sea. The river has a catchment area of about 1,324 sq km.
