Paush

Paush or Pausha is the 10th month of the Hindu Calendar. It falls between mid- December and mid-January, in Gregorian calendar.

Lohadi Festival of Himachal Pradesh, Mallini Poornima of Panaji, Gada Bhatta Festival in Jammu and Kashmir, Soharai Festival celebrated by the tribal people of Bihar and Charta Festival of Chhattisgarh are celebrated in the month of Paush. Safla Ekadashi, Ishan Vrat and Pausha Ravivar are observed in this month.
