Pathchouli




Pathchouli is an erect aromatic much-branched under-shrub having ovate-oblong leaves and toothed tomentose on both the surfaces.

The leaves contain patchauli alcohol, pathoulene, caryophyllene, bulnesene and elemene. It is added to give flavor to alcholic drinks, non-alcohol bevarages, candies, baked goods and meat products.
