Passion Flower




Passion Flower (Passiflora incarnata) is a woody, hairy climbing vine with lobed palmate leaves and white flowers. The fruits can be eaten fresh.

It is considered to be an anti-spasmodic, diaphoretic, sedative, antiseptic, and nervine. Passion Flower is prescribed as a remedy for high blood pressure and for premenstrual syndrome. A few varieties of the plant are harmful to living organism.
