Paruththeesam Temple

Paruththeesam Temple is situated on the banks of Paruthikulam in Kanchipuram. The temple, also known as Paruthikulam, is dedicated to Lord Shiva. He is called Parutheeswarar in this temple. It is believed that the idol of this temple was worshipped by Surya. The nearest airport is at Chennai and Kanchipuram Railway Station is the closest railway station.
