Parli Vaijnath




Parli Vaijnath, one of the twelve jyotirlingas, is located near Parli in Beed District.

The temple, lying on a hill, faces east with the doors in south and north direction. Lord Shiva resides here with Goddess Parvati. There is a huge pillar less hall, built out of sagwan wood. Gudhi Padwa, Navratri, and Shivratri are the festivals celebrated here.

The temple is 240 km from Aurangabad.
