Papankush Ekadashi




Papankush Ekadashi is observed on the eleventh day of the full moon of the Ashwin (October). Lord Vishnu is worshipped on this day. References about this observance is found in the Brahmanda Purana - a treatise on the origin of the universe as told by Lord Brahma. It is believed that fasting on this day enables one to get rid of all sins.
