This famous Saraswati Temple - dedicated to
Goddess Saraswati, the deity of knowledge - is located in
Panachikkad, 18 km away from
Kottayam town. It is also known as Dakshina Mookambika Temple. The temple is famous for Saraswati Pooja performed in the month of
Thulam (September-October).
