Palus, a town in Sangli District of Maharashtra, is one of the largest producers of grapes in India. It is 30 km from Sangli.
The government has started a wine park at Palus, named Krishna Valley Wine Park, which spreads over 142 hectares of land. Sagareshwar Wildlife Sanctuary is a nearby tourist destination.
