Pallas' Cat

Pallas' Cat (Felis manul), also called Steppe Cat, is a soft-furred animal about the size of a house cat. It is named after the naturalist Peter Simon Pallas.

The cat is pale silvery gray or light brown in color. At the end, tail is ringed and tipped with black. Its chin and throat are white. Iris is yellow in color and pupil is contracting into vertical rhombus. Ears are short and bluntly rounded. The face is strikingly marked. The animal appears as wearing a bandit's mask and feeds on rodents and ground-dwelling birds.
