Pakhamba-maton (Euphorbia hirta Linn) is a trailing herb seen in the northeastern states of India.
It is helpful in genitourinary tract diseases and worm diseases of children. Juice made out of the plant is reputed for the treatment of dysentery, bowel complaints, cough and colic. A decoction of the plant is taken to relieve asthma and bronchial diseases. Its latex is used to cure small hard round growth on the skin.
