Padgampore Bridge is an ancient overpass located at Avantipur
in Pulwama District
of Jammu and Kashmir
. It is about 29 km from Srinagar
on the way to Anantnag
. The bridge was constructed by Haider Shah (A D 1472-73). This overpass was gutted in a fire during the Chak rule and was rebuilt by Pratap Singh in 1921.
Padgampore Bridge is a wooden one and is now in bad shape, due to its age and neglect.
