Odissi Research Centre is an autonomous institution setup by the Government of Orissa. It is situated at
Bhubaneswar, the state capital. With its required infrastructure facilities, the center promotes
Odissi dance and music forms and provides best facilities for the research in various aspects of the cultural tradition of the state. A group of famous artists and art-critics functions in association with the center.
In addition to two-year intensive in-house training in Odissi dance on Gurukul pattern, the center organizes two spells of workshop and training of one-month duration.
