Niruha Basti is a special treatment in traditional
ayurveda. It is an ideal treatment for all arthritic conditions, nervous disorders, obstruction of urine, stools and flatus, amenorrhea and infertility. In this treatment decoctions of medicinal herbs are used for enema.
Patients suffering from tuberculosis, peritonitis, intestinal obstruction, dysentery, diabetes, skin diseases and asthma are advised not do this treatment.
