Nirar Dam

Nirar Dam is located at a distance of 15 km from Valparai, a hill station on the Anamalai range in Coimbatore District. Encompassed by dense forest, Nirar dam is a famous tourist spot in Tamil Nadu. The dam is used for irrigation and hydro electricity production.
