Nigella




Nigella is an annual herbaceous of the buttercup family. Leaves are gray or green color and are wispy and threadlike. Flowers have five petals with white with blue veins and appearing between June and September. Seeds are small, matte-black grains with a rough surface and an oily white interior.

Nigella is used as a spice and condiment in India and the Middle East. It is also known as Kala Zeera.
