Neelamegaperumal Temple

Neelamegaperumal Temple is located at Tirunagai in Nagapattinam District. The temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Goddess Sounderavalli Thaayar is also worshipped here. The utsavars (festival deities) are Soundarajan and Gajalakshmi Thaayar. The temple also houses shrines to Govindaraja Perumal and Lord Ranganathar. The bronze image of Ranganathar (Ashta Pooja Narasimhar) in the standing position is seen in the Sannidhi. The temple is near to the Nagapattinam railway station (1 km).
