Narnala Wildlife Sanctuary




Narnala Wildlife Sanctuary is located in Akola District of Maharashtra and is about 40 km from Akola.

It spreads over 12 sq km and is the continuity of the Melghat Tiger Reserve in Amaravati District. Leopard, sambar deer, barking deer, wild boar, serpents, porcupines and birds inhabit the sanctuary.

The best time to visit is October to June.

Sonegaon Airport at Nagpur (250 km) is the closest airport and Akola Junction Railway Station is the nearest railhead.
