Narayangaon




Narayangaon is a small, crowded town located in Pune District of Maharashtra. Narayangaon is famous for its vineyards. A festival named Chougule's Annual Wine Festival is celebrated in Narayangaon every year. The Riviera brand of wine, which is popular in India, is brewed mostly in Narayangaon.

The world's most powerful meterwave radio telescope, the Giant Meterwave Radio Telescope, is placed at Khodad, a few kilometers away. It is used to detect radio waves. Another attraction here is the Khodad Fort.
