Nanduni




Nanduni is an ancient string instrument native to Kerala. It is a primitive form of instrument, with its use restricted in the temples in the Malabar region. It is also used in some religious dances like the Sarpam Thullal.

Nanduni is similar to the Veena in structure. It contains 2 strings and 14 frets. The strings are plucked using a plectrum.
