Nandgaon




Situated 8 km from the famous tourist center Murud-Janjira, Nandgaon is famous for its magnificent Shri Siddhivinayaka temple. Numerous devotees visit this temple during the annual fair held every February. The beach here is famous for its unspoilt beauty. Tucked between stony precipices, this beach is surrounded on three sides by verdant and gently sloping hills. This pilgrimage center can be reached from Alibag via Nagav, Chaul, and Revedanda.

Nandgaon is a little further south towards Murud-Janjira. State buses are available to Nandgaon from different parts of the district.
