Nalappat Narayana Menon

Nalappat Narayana Menon belongs to the second generation of Malayalam romantic poets, after the poetic trinity of Asan, Ulloor and Vallathol. Nalappat is chiefly remembered for his classic legacy on the death of his wife - 'Kannuneerthulli' (Tear drop.) It is one of the best meditative lyrics in Malayalam.
