Nadi Swedana, an ayurvedic hydrotherapy method, is a special treatment in traditional
ayurveda. It is a localized application of steam with herbal decoctions and medicated oils. In this treatment, medicated steam is sprayed on the affected parts of body with the help of a particular instrument similar to pressure cooker.
Nadi Swedana usually focuses on specific areas of the body, such as sore joints or muscles. It improves mobility and reduces pain. This treatment is carried out for five to seven minutes.
