Murukku



Murukku is a crunchy, mildly-spiced snack made from rice flour. It is prepared from rice flour paste mixed with cumin seeds and white sesame seeds. The paste is squeezed out from sieve in different shapes and fried in oil. Crunchy murukku in the shape of small coils are the most common. This beautiful looking, non-greasy snacks are served with hot coffee or tea.
