Muruga Nayanar is one of the 63
nayanars explained in the
Periya Puranam. Muruga Nayanar was born in Tirupukalur. He would wake up in early morning, and after his daily routines he used to go to garden with a basket. Chanting Panchakshara Mantra, he would collect flowers to make colourful garlands and offer to the God.
