Mukuthala Shri Bhagavathy Temple




Shri Bhagavathy Temple is a highly revered shrine, situated 3 km away from Chakkaramkulam, at Mukuthala, in Malappuram District of Kerala. The presiding deity of the temple is Goddess Shakti, also called as Aadiparashakti. The deity is believed to have been consecrated by Adi Sankara, the renowned saint who propagated Advaita Philosophy.

Chandan, garland and appam are the main offerings at the temple. Trikarthika and Navratri are the major festivals celebrated.

Regular buses are available from Malappuram Bus Station. Tirur Railway Station and Cochin International Airport are the nearest railway station and airport.
