Muktheshwarar Temple

Muktheswarar Temple is located opposite to the Machchesar Temple, on the East Raja Street, in Kanchipuram. Lord Muktheshwarar is the main deity. The temple is known for an ancient idol of Lord Shiva. The holy words such as 'Mahadeveechcharam’ and ‘Manikeswaram’ are inscribed on the temple walls.
