Mohanam is a cultural center located at Sanjeevinagar in
Pondicherry. The word Mohanam means beauty in
Tamil language. The centre is a group of young Tamil men from the surrounding villages. They work among the villagers in the field of art and heritage.
The center has a large open space for perform music, songs, story telling and dance. The kitchen is the place where one can learn about the traditional cooking including the special dishes for festivals. There are meeting rooms and guest rooms. The center also offers training in traditional healing, meditation and yoga.
