Mohamed of Ghur




Mohamed of Ghur was one of the Delhi Sultans and his expedition in 1175 against Multan and subsequent invasion of Gujarat, Peshawar and Lahore and his victory over the Rajputs helped him to lay foundations of Muslim domination in India by 1192. During the later years, Qtub-ud-din Aibak, his slave general, annexed different parts of North India.
