The visas issued to missionaries are valid for single entry and the duration as permitted by the Government of India. A letter from the sponsoring organization in triplicate which indicates the intended destination in India, probable duration of stay, and nature of duties to be discharged should be presented along with a guarantee for the applicant’s maintenance while in India.
