Mirdha Tribe

Mirdha is a small Dravidian tribal community residing in Sambalpur District of Orissa. Their main occupation is digging earth. Besides, agriculture and collecting forest products are their other activities. Dalkhai is a folk dance form performed by these tribes during Dussehra festival.
