Madurai, lies 1500 m above sea level. These hills abound in cardamom estates and tea plantations and is a fine spot with lovely atmosphere. The forest nearby is home to wild animals such as sambhar, elephant, tiger, cheetah, gaur and spotted deer. Chinna Suruli falls originate here.
