Mayasur

Mayasur, in Chamoli District of Uttaranchal, is a small settlement, situated on the National Highway between Chamoli and Joshimath. Gopeshwar, Bhimtalla, Pipalkoti and Chhinka are the cities and villages around Mayasur.

Alaknanda River, the main tributary of the River Ganges, flows through this village. Gopeshwar Mahadeva Temple is easily accessible from here.
