Mastic Gum (Pistacia lentiscus) is a large irregular evergreen shrub grown as patio tree and hedge. It has pinnately arranged leaves and flowers.
The shrub grows well in full sun and also likes shade. It is adaptable to varying climates and can tolerate drought. Mastic Gum is reported to be an enteric coating. Propagation is mainly by seedling.
