Marsh Sandpiper




Marsh Sandpiper (Tringa stagnatilis) is a medium-sized wader with long needle-like bills and very long greenish legs. It is about 22 to 25 cm in size. The bird mainly feeds on worms, insect larvae and bivalve.

Common Snipe can be seen in Bund Baretha Wildlife Sanctuary, Rajasthan.
