Margi Sathi

Margi Sathi is a Koodiyattam Maestro, from the Margi group, based in Kerala. She performs Koodiyattam and Nangiarkoothu. Margi Sathi joined Kerala Kala Mandalam at the age of 11, and has been performing for 25 years. She later joined Margi Foundation based at Thiruvananthapuram. Margi Sathi has given performances all over India and in many foreign countries. She was part of the international team that performed Koodiyattam at the UNESCO headquarters in 2001. She is a pioneer in female roles.

In 1999, Margi Sathi published a dance performance manual, 'Sree Ramacharitham Nangiarkoothu,' for Ramayana themes.
