Mappila Bay is a natural fishing harbor located near
St Angelo's Fort, in
Kannur District of
Kerala. It was built with Indo Norwegian project assistance. The rough sea and inland water, separated by a sea wall extending to a huge height projecting from the fort, is an architectural marvel of the ancient time. Mechanized and country crafts can enter into the island from the sea and anchor safely.
Kannur Railway Station is the nearest railhead.
