Manoti

Manoti is an art of decorating articles made from camel leather. It is practiced in Barmer District of Rajasthan.

The required article is first crafted out of camel leather. Floral Patterns and other images are created by painting or enameling. Delicate designs are created on the leather through gold platting.

Lampshades, leather jewelry like choker, stylish bags and other similar leather items are decorated using the Manoti process.
