Manki


Manki is a place of considerable antiquity located in Honowar taluk, about 28 km from Bhatkal. Once it was a famous Jain center during the 14th and 15th centuries. There are several temples dedicated to Ganapati, Venkataramana and Durga, and 3 mosques.
