Mandwa Beach is located in
Raigad District of
Maharashtra and is north of
Alibag. One can get a glimpse of the
Gateway of India from Mandwa Beach on a clear day. The fishing village of Mandwa has a charm of its own with beautiful groves of coconut palms. Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation (MTDC) has set up tents at Mandwa, which provides an excellent opportunity for one to be with nature. Twenty tents lay nestled amidst the thick coconut groves. These tents also have modern amenities like fans, beds, blankets and cafeteria.
