Manasthala is a center for arts and crafts center situated at
Teynampet, in
Chennai. The center, housed in a colonial building on Cenotaph Road, encompasses all aspects of art, from puppet making to brass idols to photography.
Manasthala aims to promote Indian culture by popularizing handicrafts. The showroom acts as the resource centre for all forms of art. The centre conducts recurrent workshops on handicrafts, puppetry, clay modeling and origami.
Manasthala also acts as a platform for talented contemporary and folk artists to widen their audience base and sell their products.
