Mamita Puja

Mamita Puja is performed by the Koloi tribes of Tripura. It is observed to satisfy the deity Sangrama, who is associated with the birth of a child.

Ducks, goats, pigeon, fowls and pigs are sacrificed. Each one of the family has to sacrifice something to the deity. The worship is held during day time after all the members of the family have assembled.
