Established in 1995, Malabar Kennel Club promotes awareness among dog lovers in the field of dog rearing and showing. It functions from
Kozhikode, the administrative headquarters of
Kozhikode District.
Affiliated to
Kennel Club of India, the club undertakes anti-rabies vaccination drive, conducts classes for canine lovers, helps in processing applications for dog registrations, litter registrations, dog transfers and other matters of canine interest.
The club has a well stocked library providing valuable information about the canine world. It also conducts All Breeds Championship Dog Shows annually.
