Malabar Hill




The highest point (15 m above sea level) and the most exclusive residential area of Mumbai, Malabar Hill is south of Cumballa Hill. It is home to some of the stately mansions of Mumbai including the Chief Minister's house, Raj Bhavan and an impressive state guesthouse.

Steeped in history, Malabar Hill holds the Walkeshwar temple and the Banganga tank, the oldest structure in Mumbai. Hanging Gardens, Kamala Nehru Park and Tower of Silence, some of the most popular tourist destinations in the metropolis, is housed here. Apart from the grandiose structures, fine views over Back Bay and cool breezes makes Malabar Hill the most expensive real estate in the world.

Nearest local railhead is the Grant Road Railway Station.

Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport is around 25 km north. Nearest railhead major railhead is Mumbai Central Railway Station. Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus is around 8 km south-east.
