Mahishrekha

Mahishrekha is a beautiful picnic spot situated on the banks of the Damodar River amidst rich green woods in Howrah District. This picturesque spot, situated 4 km away from Kulgachia station, is a perfect place for holidays in weekends. There is a Mahishrekha Irrigation Bungalow where night stay can be arranged. To reach this place, one has to take any local train to Kharagpur, Medinipur, Mecheda or Panskura from Howrah Station and then get down at the Kulgachia station.
