Mahajati Sadan

Mahajati Sadan is a fully air-conditioned theater located in Kolkata. It was opened in 1958 with a capacity of 1309 seats. The theater usually conducts various cultural programs and exhibitions. The exhibits include the portraits of freedom fighters.

A seminar hall with 160 seats is available for rent. The library attached to the theater houses research papers on social science, literature of freedom movement and Dr. B C Roy's collection of social sciences books, excluding medical books.
