Mahaaruthresam Temple is situated at Pillaiyarpalayam in
Kanchipuram. Mahaaruthreswarar is the principal deity of the temple. The temple has holy figures of Sandeswarar, nine holy planets and Lord Bhairava. Nagamman, the holy figure of serpent, is situated near the holy bael tree. The temple also houses God Anandhavinayakar and Lord Subramanya with his consorts Valli and Theivanai.
