Madhab Nagar lies in the western side of
Satchand block in
South Tripura District. This remote panchayat area is on the Indo-Bangla border and is around 55 km south of
Udaipur.
The place has two junior basic schools, one senior school and one high school. The population is approximately 2,500. Climate is pleasant with moderate rains. Rainy season is from July to October.
Trishna Wildlife Sanctuary and Pilak are the nearest tourist spots. Belonia, Manu Bazar and Sabroom are the nearest access points.
