Madaris

Madaris are street jugglers of India, who perform in an open space, usually by a roadside or street where there is enough gathering of people.

They always carry a bear or monkey along with them to perform various feats. The madaris sounds a tiny drum called ‘damaru’, announcing the beginning of their show. Most of the feats are performed by animals.
